It's on!

Well, tomorrow starts a new adventure. I've been thinking of starting a blog like this for a while. With Alan starting to train for the Ogden Marathon (after he gets better) and me starting on my own weight-loss trip, I thought it would be the perfect way to document everything. I'm also going to start training for the marathon, but I'm not going to actually sign up for it. Maybe for the 5k, but not the whole thing. I'm hoping by then (cross your fingers!) I'll be prego. Who knows! Anyway, I figure if I start training like I am going to run it, things will progress a little faster. I'm also going to start doing the weight-watchers again. No, I'm not going to go to the meetings, but I will follow the plan and have a "weigh-in " with Alan. Ugh, do I REALLY want my husband to see my weight? No, but it's a great motivator! Hooray for Monday's and weigh in! I'm also not going to post my weight on line. Sorry, I so draw the line at that! I was reading my sis-in-laws blog journal and she actually put down her pant size. I admire her, but would never do something like that. Not secure enough, I guess. Anyway, I think this will be a great thing for both of us. Here's to weight loss at it's finest!
